Free Trade Agreement between Australia and Hong Kong
The Free Trade Agreement between Australia and Hong Kong, China (A-HKFTA) has commenced as of today, 17 January 2020.
Except excise-equivalent goods, all Hong Kong originating goods are entitled to a free duty rate when supported by a Declaration of Origin (DOO).
Unlike other FTAs, the Declaration of Origin under the A-HKFTA does not need to be certified by an authorised body or Government department.
As the exporter, producer or importer can complete the Declaration of Origin, we strongly suggest importers and suppliers familiarise themselves with the requirements to determine whether the goods being imported are eligible for preferential duty rates under the A-HKFTA
A full comprehensive guide to using the A-HKFTA and requirements of the DOO can be found at:

A template for the DOO has not been made available but we will endeavour to provide one asap.
